As described by Wells Antiques

Tall handsome pitcher by Zanesville Stoneware Company of Ohio. Hand-thrown and has what the company called "matte rose" glazing. This piece is functional and attractive with its many rings covering the handle and body. "No. 579" is incised on the base.
