Why We Love This

Vintage "Drunkard's Path" quilt, circa 1930, Iowa. Each patch is part of a "circle-in-a-square", arranged so that the design slowly, but surely meanders its way to the edge. Making it all fit together requires accuracy and concentration. Excellent hand-quilting throughout adds a rich texture to this pristine spread.
