    As described by Tansu Design

    Japanese silk brocade maru obi (woman's kimono belt) from the Meiji period (circa 1900). Maru obis are the most formal of the obis and were used for weddings. Patterned on both sides with elaborate use of gold threads woven through repeating fan designs. It can be used as a table runner or as a wall hanging.
