As described by Christopher de Lotbinière's Rare Books

Saint Jack by Paul Theroux. Boston: Houghton Mifflin, 1973. First printing. A lovely copy of Theroux's sixth book, set in Malaya during the Vietnam war. It was on the strength of this and other books set in southeast Asia, that Theroux cut his teeth as an eloquent chronicler of the end of colonialism. Very slight rubbing and fading to jacket spine, otherwise unusually well-preserved, with lovely cover art by Paul Bacon. Fine in near fine dust-jacket. Hardcover.
