As described by Nick Harvill Libraries

Unseen Versailles photographs by Deborah Turbeville, introduction by Louis Auchincloss. NY: Doubleday, 1982. First Edition. 160 pages. Hardcover with dust jacket. Book is signed on the half title page by both Turbeville and Auchincloss and was produced and edited by Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. There is an uncredited "Editor's Note" by her in which she writes that Turbeville has captured the ghosts of Versailles, as seen through the imaginations of Poe and Dali.
