Book profiles the lavish costume balls of the mid-20th-century, with guest lists, themes, table settings, menus and invitations. The prince’s own parties are included, as well as those by the Beaumonts, Marie-Laure de Noailles, the Rothschilds, and Carlos de Beistegui.
