The New Orleans City Guide written and compiled by the Federal Writers' Project of the Works Progress Administration. Boston: Houghton Mifflin, 1938. Hardcover, 430 pages, nearly 100 black and white illustrations, largely from photographs. The book is in very fine condition; the dust jacket is rubbed and slightly chipped.
About the Seller
My bookstore, an old wooden building at the edge of a New England trout stream, houses thousands of used, rare and antiquarian books, with particular emphasis on Home and Garden subjects -- food and drink, gardening, interior design and architecture. I also carry titles on fashion, children's books and literature. Books really do furnish a room, beautifully!
