An early British feminist, Pepperell grew up in poverty, worked in factories, then won a scholarship to the London School of Economics. About librarylions

Julie Goldman has been collecting books all her life. As a child, she spent many days haunting the used book stores on 4th Avenue in NYC with her father. Most collectors become booksellers out of necessity, and Goldman began selling about 15 years ago. The library lions are the pair of stone lions who guard the New York Public Library. Their names are Patience and Fortitude. When you place an order with librarylions it will receive the attention and treatment it deserves.
