As described by Christopher de Lotbinière's Rare Books

The Gentle Art of Smoking by Alfred H. Dunhill. London: Max Reinhardt, 1978. Seventh printing. This charming and wholly uncritical history of man's involvement with the devil weed first appeared in 1954. This must have been about the last gasp for the industry, before times changed. Illustrated by James Arnold's drawings, this is a highly informative overview of the grip tobacco has exercised over civilization. Book and jacket are in fine condition.
