A Treatise on the Cultivation of the Pineapple and the Management of the Hothouse by William Speechly. Self-published in England in 1796. Hardcover. Second edition, 211 pages, with six engraved plates, four of them large foldouts, showing greenhouse plans for growing pineapples, then a rarity. A very fine and collectible copy, newly rebound in hand-marbled paper on boards and a green cloth spine with a leather title label.
