As described by Christopher de Lotbinière's Rare Books

The Unexpurgated Beaton: The Cecil Beaton Diaries as He Wrote Them, 1970-1980 by Cecil Beaton. New York: Knopf, 2003. First printing. Beaton was at the center of the worlds of fashion, society, theater and film, as well as chronicling many aspects of the British Empire at war. His diaries from this never-before-published decade are left unedited, although not without entertainingly waspish comment from his literary executor, Hugo Vickers.
