Set of five Art Nouveau tooled leather-bound books with decorated ribbed spines.. The works of Charles Paul de Kock bound by Frederick J. Quinby Co. Frederick Quinby was regarded as one of the most skilled and talented bookbinders at the turn of the century. They are copyrighted 1904/05 and each is #42 out of an edition of 100. The titles are Madame Pantalon (316 pp, 9 ill.); Andre the Savoyard Vol. I ll (610 pp, 21 ill.); Cherami Vol I II (576 pp, 19 ill.).
