As described by Christopher de Lotbinière's Rare Books

The Name of the Rose by Umberto Eco. Harcourt, New York, 1983. First printing. An excellent copy of the first printing of this increasingly rare classic. Bookboard has minor soil marks. Unclipped dust jacket has a closed tear to reverse top edge, otherwise very good. An all-time brilliant read and ingenious, medieval murder mystery. Basis for the hit movie of the same title starring Sean Connery.
