Four volumes in two, hardbound in leather with gilt-stamped spines. Familiar Wild Birds by W. Swaysland. British game, song and shorebirds in habitat. Cassell Co. London, 1903. 160 color prints by A. Thornburn (and others), hundreds of wood-block line prints. 600 pages. Minor scuffing and discoloration for age. Tight bindings. Embossed spines excellent, with negligible fading.
