As described by
Pelle's New Suit, a picture book by Elsa Beskow, is the charming tale of a little Swedish boy who is outgrowing his clothes. He shears his sheep and, through a series of clever barters, ends up with a beautiful new blue suit. He then thanks his lamb. Hardcover, illustrations on each of the 15 pages, ex-lib from a school with typical stamps. This apparently did not circulate much, it is crisp and clean. No date given but most likely pre-1940s. No dust jacket.
