As described by Christopher de Lotbinière's Rare Books

Raise High the RoofBeam, Carpenters and Seymour: An Introduction by J. D. Salinger. New York: Little, Brown and Co., 1963. The first printing's dedication page was bound in three variant ways, of which this is the most common. First printing, third issue. Dedication page follows title page, "Seymore" for "Seymour" on page 173. A lovely copy, apart from owner book plate and slight chipping to dust jacket spine ends. One of Salinger's most popular works about the Glass family.
