As described by
Quake, Quake, Quake: A Leaden Treasury of English Verse by Paul Dehn.New York: Simon and Schuster, 1961. First Edition. 109 pages. Paul Dehn's wonderful parodies of familiar verses. Over 60 extraordinary drawings by Edward Gorey, including the title page and endpapers. As a book, this is a glorious combination of two complementary talents. Internally a very fine copy, bound in yellow boards and a mildly rubbed and chipped dust jacket.
About the Seller
My bookstore, an old wooden building at the edge of a New England trout stream, houses thousands of used, rare and antiquarian books, with particular emphasis on Home and Garden subjects -- food and drink, gardening, interior design and architecture. I also carry titles on fashion, children's books and literature. Books really do furnish a room, beautifully!
