As described by Christopher de Lotbinière's Rare Books

The I Hate To Cook Book by Peg Bracken. Harcourt, 1962. The Omelette Book by Narcissa Chamberlain. Alfred A. Knopf, 1965. Both later printings, but distinguished by the glorious drawings of Hilary Knight, made famous by his simultaneous work on the Eloise books. Both these books aim to simplify cooking procedure and have become classics of their kind.
