Originally issued in 1857 it revolutionized tactics and rapidly became an influential classic with his upstream "sunk-fly" technique. Includes; "A Book of Flies for Loch and Stream as used by Mr. Stewart," in a hand-sewn eight-page booklet. Still considered one of the trout fisherman's bibles.
