Olive cloth with black-and-white pictorial paste-down on front cover, several black-and-white plates. Classic children's dog story, focusing on the rivalry between two sheepdogs and their masters, and chronicling the coming of age of a boy, David, who is caught between them. Rubbed spine head and tail and tips. Ownership on front endpaper.
