Moby-Dick by Herman Melville. Franklin Library, 1979. Embossed hardcover. 31 pages of color plates. 527 pages. Embossed cover, spine and whaling prints. The story tells the adventures of sailor Ishmael, and his voyage on the whale ship commanded by Captain Ahab. Ishmael soon learns that Ahab has one purpose on this voyage: to find a specific whale, Moby Dick, a ferocious sperm whale. Previously, the whale destroyed Ahab's boat and bit off his leg, which drives Ahab to revenge.
