Meade (pseudonym of Elizabeth Meade) wrote more than 300 books, mostly for girls, but also some mysteries co-written with men. Published late 1800s-early 1900s. Cover has colored paste down of girls playing badminton. Text unmarked, front free endpaper lightly foxed. Few age spots, gently faded. Hinge starting, but book intact.
