Text in French. 76 black-and-white illustrations by H. Castelli of "les deux nigauds," (which means the two silly children) and their adventures. A volume in the very fine "Bibliotheque Rose" series. Christmas inscription on a pasted-in card. A fine copy, all edges gilt.
About the Seller
My bookstore, an old wooden building at the edge of a New England trout stream, houses thousands of used, rare and antiquarian books, with particular emphasis on Home and Garden subjects -- food and drink, gardening, interior design and architecture. I also carry titles on fashion, children's books and literature. Books really do furnish a room, beautifully!
