Why We Love This

The Bobby Jones Story by Grantland Rice. Atlanta: Tupper Love, 1953. Presumed 1st Ed. Hardcover, lacking dust jacket, 308 pp. With numerous black-and-white photos of the golfing great, who placed 1 2 in the U.S. Open eight times. He also won the British Open three times. From 1922-30, he won 13 national golf titles. Later, he became an Atlanta attorney. Book is based on writings of O. B. Keeler, an Atlanta sports writer. Clean interior with just a hint of sunning. Golf classic.
