Illustrated holiday edition, includes eight color images under tissue by Harold Matthews Brett. Special edition, a re-telling of the first Little Colonel children's book, one in a series of 15. The Little Colonel, set in Kentucky, grew in popularity after Shirley Temple's 1935 film of the same name. Owner's name on ffep, 1905.
