Why We Love This

Royal Gardens by Roy Strong. London: BBC Books, 1992. First edition, 168 pages, with hundreds of illustrations, largely in color, of monarchs. Contributions to the incredible array of royal English gardens, starting with Charles II's tree planting at Windsor and continuing to the present Prince of Wales' property at Highgrove. A very good copy in flexible heavy wrappers, faint indentation on rear panel.

About Barbara Farnsworth

My bookstore, an old wooden building at the edge of a New England trout stream, houses thousands of used, rare and antiquarian books, with particular emphasis on Home and Garden subjects -- food and drink, gardening, interior design and architecture. I also carry titles on fashion, children's books and literature. Books really do furnish a room, beautifully!
