Why We Love This

Two Forsyte Interludes: A Silent Wooing Passers By by John Galsworthy. London: William Heinemann, 1927. Number 58 of 525 copies, the first edition, signed by Galsworthy on the limitation page. Scattered light foxing, but a very good copy of two episodes from "The Forsyte Saga," both taking place in the United States. Bound in blue boards with a cloth spine, and a very plain and now age-darkened dust jacket.

About Barbara Farnsworth

My bookstore, an old wooden building at the edge of a New England trout stream, houses thousands of used, rare and antiquarian books, with particular emphasis on Home and Garden subjects -- food and drink, gardening, interior design and architecture. I also carry titles on fashion, children's books and literature. Books really do furnish a room, beautifully!
