Why We Love This

Haunter of Ruins: The Photography of Clarence John Laughlin, edited by John H. Lawrence and Patricia Brady. Boston: Bulfinch Press/Little, Brown, 1997. First trade edition, 106 pages, with 69 duotone (black and white) photographs of the New Orleans area by Laughlin, and essays on his work by different writers, such as Shirley Ann Grau. Narrow remainder line on the bottom edge but still a fine copy in boards and dust jacket.

About Barbara Farnsworth

My bookstore, an old wooden building at the edge of a New England trout stream, houses thousands of used, rare and antiquarian books, with particular emphasis on Home and Garden subjects -- food and drink, gardening, interior design and architecture. I also carry titles on fashion, children's books and literature. Books really do furnish a room, beautifully!
