Classic book, inscribed by the author, at that time a designer and professor of design at the Pratt Institute. With 701 illustrations, including 137 color plates. Twenty chapters, including design quality, interiors both public and private, architecture, color, and much more. Small marginal stain on the contents page, but a fine copy in boards and dust jacket.
About the Seller
My bookstore, an old wooden building at the edge of a New England trout stream, houses thousands of used, rare and antiquarian books, with particular emphasis on Home and Garden subjects -- food and drink, gardening, interior design and architecture. I also carry titles on fashion, children's books and literature. Books really do furnish a room, beautifully!
