First US Edition. 396 pp. Hardcover with dust jacket. 400 illustrations, some in color. Praz was an Italian professor, born in 1896. Rear gutter reinforced with archival tape, a few faint marks to one side of page block. Some toning and edge wear to dust jacket with one small piece missing in back.
About the Seller
Julie Goldman has been collecting books all her life. As a child, she spent many days haunting the used book stores on 4th Avenue in NYC with her father. Most collectors become booksellers out of necessity, and Goldman began selling about 15 years ago. The library lions are the pair of stone lions who guard the New York Public Library.
