An Illustrated History of Furnishing From the Renaissance to the Twentieth Century by Mario Praz. NY: Braziller, 1964. First US Edition. 396 pp. Hardcover with dust jacket. 400 illustrations, some in color. Praz was an Italian professor, born in 1896. Rear gutter reinforced with archival tape, a few faint marks to one side of page block. Some toning and edge wear to dust jacket with one small piece missing in back.
