As described by Barbara Farnsworth

Jane Austen in Kent by David Waldron Smithers. Westerham, Kent: Hurtwood Publications, 1981. First Edition. 133 pages. Hardcover. With 29 black-and-white illustrations of houses and properties in Kent that Jane Austen was familiar with and drew on for background to her books. A treat for Jane-ites, and a very good copy in boards and a slightly edge-worn pictorial dust jacket.

About the Seller

Barbara Farnsworth
Barbara Farnsworth

My bookstore, an old wooden building at the edge of a New England trout stream, houses thousands of used, rare and antiquarian books, with particular emphasis on Home and Garden subjects -- food and drink, gardening, interior design and architecture. I also carry titles on fashion, children's books and literature. Books really do furnish a room, beautifully!
