As described by
Flowers from a Painter's Garden: The Watercolours of Paul Gell , with commentary by the artist and botanical notes by Ronald King. London: Weidenfeld Nicolson, 1983. First edition with more than 70 full-page color illustrations of flowers, an interesting text by this fine English painter, plus notes on the flowers themselves by Ronald King. Beautiful work of great elegance and refinement. A fine copy in a very slightly nicked dust jacket.
About the Seller
My bookstore, an old wooden building at the edge of a New England trout stream, houses thousands of used, rare and antiquarian books, with particular emphasis on Home and Garden subjects -- food and drink, gardening, interior design and architecture. I also carry titles on fashion, children's books and literature. Books really do furnish a room, beautifully!
