As described by Christopher de Lotbinière's Rare Books

The Land by Vita Sackville-West. London: William Heineman, 1927. Third printing, published five months after the first. A lovely copy of this famous celebration of the old English country year, a long, classically inspired eulogy in four parts that corresponds to the seasons. Book has slight foxing to edges of hand-cut pages. Jacket, with stunning period artwork by George Plank, has chips to corners. The ancient rhythms of pre-war England, whose country pursuits were still unchanged.
