As described by Nick Harvill Libraries

Häger, Bengt. Ballets Suédois (1st Am. Ed., HC/DJ, 1989). 303 pages, filled with color and black white images. Subject is the avant-garde ballet troupe that rose to prominence in Paris during the 1920s and was directed by Swedish arts impresario Rolf de Maré. Though it ran for only five seasons, it overtook the Ballets-Russes, incorporating modern poetry, art, film, and theatre into the productions. Includes work by Jean Cocteau, Fernand Léger, Lanvin, Erik Satie, Colette, et al.
