Abrams, Inc., 1966. 1st Edition. 441 pages, color illustrated DJ, red cloth with blue gilt spine label, lace-pattern endpapers, 1150 illus., including 346 in full color. This scholarly, absorbing history of dress ranges from prehistoric costume through 1960s fashion. Prior owner's name neatly in pen on front flyleaf, otherwise clean sound, excellent condition.
