Why We Love This

The 13 Clocks by James Thurber. New York: Simon Schuster, 1950. The true first printing with $2.50 price on jacket and illustrator Marc Simont's name misspelled on the title page. Book has owner's name, otherwise perfect. Jacket is extremely well-preserved, with slight edge wear and chips from spine ends, otherwise very good. One of Thurber's most popular works, a weird parody of a fairy story, extremely sought-after in the first printing.
