Why We Love This

"This fetching drinking set makes us think of Fred and Ginger sashaying by in the film Top Hat with Busby Berkeley-style dancers doing all sorts of over-the-top synchronized swimmer-like moves in the distance. Frankly, if I downed enough martinis from these Deco-driven cocktail classes I am sure that I, too, could I do everything that they did backwards and in high heels. Heres a set of six glasses, three Lucite cocktail tools, a glittering ice bucket, a shaker, and a totally fetch black metal tray.

John Loecke and Jason Oliver Nixon are the dynamic duo behind Madcap Cottage, their Brooklyn-based interior design firm. Known for their whimsical use of color and pattern, the Madcap gents scour the world for eclectic finds that capture their unique and gimlet-eyed view of the world. Imagine a British country house that pairs Grannys antiques and a spirited dash of chinoiserie chic with a side of Moroccan marvelous and Indian lan. If you are looking for beige and boring, says Jason, go bark up someone elses tree.
