Susan Calloway Fine Arts
Sepolcro della Famiglia Plauzia, classical etching of a view of Rome (Veduta di Roma), circa 1740, from a collaboration between Giovanni Battista Piranesi, one of the most influential architectural etchers in history, and Giuseppe Vasi, in whose workshop he apprenticed upon first arriving in Rome, and whom he quickly surpassed. Archivally matted and mounted.
Since opening her gallery in Washington, D.C., almost 20 years ago, Susan Calloway has developed a following that ranges from young couples buying their first “real” work of art to celebrated interior designers like Tom Pheasant and Frank Babb Randolph. Her clients, be they first-timers or seasoned collectors, benefit from her sense of style, refined taste, and unswerving commitment to quality. Susan's L.A. based daughter, Anna Calloway, has recently joined the business, and represents the gallery on the West Coast.
