"Large majestic 18th-century hand-carved sandstone Nandi bull originally from a Shiva temple. Nandi is the sacred bull that Shiva mounted and is found at the entrance of many Shiva temples as a gatekeeper and the protector. The Nandi bull is one of the most important symbols in Hindu mythology. Nandi represents strength, faith and constancy of belief. It also represents the force of Dharma, the natural force of will power according the Hindu mythology."
