1940s fashion-plate paper doll with smart ice skating costume and three other fashionable pieces laid on Pollack fabric, shimmering aquamarine wall texture.

Marc Charbonnet, a native New Orleanian, first arrived in New York on the Fourth of July, a day he recalls as his “personal day of independence.” With a penchant for the classic and a knack for elegant, comfortable interiors, he has now been at the helm of MECA, his NYC interior decorating and design firm, for nearly two decades. He was included in Architectural Digest’s “AD 100” for three consecutive years, and his work has appeared on its cover as well.
