Originally based in San Francisco, Habité was founded in 1996 in by Laurent Rebuffel and Kimberly Denman. Now located in an 8,000-square-foot space on La Brea Avenue in Los Angeles, the showroom is known for its superbly curated collection of furniture, lighting, and accessories dating from the 17th century through the end of the 20th, with a strong focus on post-1940s American and European pieces.
