As described by Lost Art Salon

Vibrant watercolor of a tugboat sailing off the dock by California Expressionist Richard Van Wingerden (1893-1969). Nice splashes of purple and red in the water. Van Wingerden worked on several WPA murals in San Francisco during the 1950s and was active in the Northern California art scene. Estate stamped with the artist's signature on the lower right corner, unframed.
