1950s three-and-a-half-point Hudson Bay blanket made in England. "Hudson Bay blankets were typically traded to Native Americans in exchange for beaver pelts. The points are woven into the blanket to denote its size and weight so that it need not be unfolded and measured."
With a passion for all things vintage, Genesee River Trading Co. founders Steve and Brenda Trainor have amassed a unique collection of quirky and unique items. Whether crawling through the rafters of a 150-year old western Pennsylvania barn or sloshing through the rain soaked-fields of some of America’s best antiques fairs, they do what it takes to find things they love.
