Why We Love This

A pair of fine Old Sheffield plated (fusion of sterling silver and copper manufactured between 1740 and 1840) sauce tureens made in England circa 1795. The bodies and lids are hand-chased with wide fluting and have applied gadroon borders and thread loop handles. There is a cut-out for sauce ladles.
