A set of two vintage prints depicting Kingsweston, the seat of Edward Southwell, and Fairford, the Seat of Samuel Barker. These wonderfully detailed giclée reproductions of the original engravings are from the work entitled The Ancient and Present State of Gloucestershire by Johannes Kip. The work was published in 1768. Kip's engravings are quite important historically, displaying the formal garden before the natural garden gave way.
