William Home Lizars (1788-1859) was a Scottish painter and engraver. This fine art giclée reproduction is from the original etching held in the William Stafford archives. The gesso and wood frame is hand-finished by craftsmen using traditional 17th-century Florentine techniques and hand-finished in silver with an antiqued mirror insert.

William Stafford Gallery has a sterling reputation for its reproduction prints. The London-based gallery is a treasure trove of fine art prints, contemporary black-and-white photography, sepia photography, and works in color. By commissioning artists and photographers and then controlling all aspects of print production, the gallery ensures a consistently exceptional quality. Through its collaborations with master framemakers, they offer new and refreshing presentation ideas in pace with today's design trends.
