Why We Love This

Red Wing Pottery (1878-1967) of Minnesota began an Art Pottery line in 1929. This double-handled vase was one of their early works created in a classic form and decorated with an Egyptian motif. The repetitive symbols are reminiscent of hieroglyphics. The vase is incised 159 (the mold number) and stamped "Red Wing Ware" in a circle. It has a deep forest green interior and is in exceptional condition.
