Set of five nut dishes with leaf designs from the 1970s. Marked "Vernonware, California USA." Vernon Kilns was founded in July 1931 in Vernon, California and sold its holding to Metlox in 1958. Metlox continued to market some Vernon shapes and patterns under the division Vernonware until 1989.
