Alicia Adams Alpaca
A traveling trio in utterly soft baby alpaca yarns puts some luxury back into the travel experience. The set is made from Suri alpacas, a rare breed known for its exquisitely soft wool, and includes an eyemask, blanket and pouch. When filled, the pouch can also serve as a blissfully soft pillow.
Alicia Adams Alpaca Inc. raises a herd of more than 200 Suri alpacas at a beautiful farm in New York’s Hudson Valley. With about 80 acres, the farm is also home to Alicia Adams and her family. The alpacas are shorn yearly; the throws and pillows are created in the United States and in Peru, utilizing the incredible handiwork of local artisans who perpetuate the pre-Incan tradition of working alpaca fibers.
