Why We Love This

1962 stone lithograph from the master printmaker Mourlot Frères of Paris of Chagall’s Twelve Jerusalem Windows. Chagall was commissioned in 1962 to design 12 stained glass windows for the new synagogue of the Hadassah-Hebrew University Medical Center, symbolizing the 12 sons of Jacob, from whom sprang the 12 tribes of Israel. Print is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. Unframed.
